Bet On The Week 1 Sunday NFL Games With Me

After hitting Buffalo -2.5 on Thursday Night Football. I have decided to take a glance at the Sunday slate – I don’t like it, I LOVE IT. Every week I will be putting up a few bets that I am willing to put my name on a risk my reputation. This week I have gone with the following:

Philadelphia @ Detroit O48.5

The Lions have cashed the over in 11 straight. That is great juju and really the only reason I bet it. This game being in Detroit after Hard Knocks, I expect more of the same. I will assume the Eagles win this game handsomely, but I expect Detroit to get in the end zone a few times.

Giants @ Titans O43.5

This is SUCH a low total. Giants are using a new system and I expect them to stretch the field more. The titans having no tape on The Giants should lead to a couple scores. The Giants defense may not have 11 people who can tackle. 43.5 is WAY to low for this game. I will also be taking the Giants +5.5 because that line screams that you have to take Tennessee -5.5, so I am taking The Giants. But that could also just be fan bias, so I am not risking my reputation on it.

Tom Brady O247.5 Yards

Lots of drama around Tommy this off-season. You won’t get rich betting against this guy. The Bucs are healthy, the Dallas defense stinks. Last year was a fluke for Digs to have 70 INTs or whatever he had. Brady will exploit that aggressiveness to get the ball down the field. He may hit 300 in the opener. EASY. I will also be taking Bucs -2.5, how my day goes will tell me how much.

Steelers +6.5 @Cincinati

I mean. This is WAY too many points. Do people forget that The Steelers made the playoffs last year? Their defense is still VERY good and I will argue the offense has gotten better losing Big Ben – that man could not move. The Steelers are the most underrated team going into the year. Mitch has led the Bears to a division title and multiple playoff appearances. Not saying they’re Super Bowl contenders, but they can win this game. Fan Duel gave a free $10 for week one and I did a parlay including the Steelers ML. I also am taking them +6.5 as my favorite play of the day.
