Jameis Winston was doing a presser, as a starting quarterback does in The NFL, but he decided to give the media a quick human anatomy lesson. This all sounds ok, except he clearly does not understand the definition of “symmetrical”. Jameis said the top half of our body is symmetrical with the lower half. The best part of this video is how he genuinely thinks that he cracked some code that no one has ever thought before. He got so excited when he said his elbows are his knees of his arms.
The off-season workouts are starting to make much more sense. Combining some of those videos and the fact that he was literally playing football without the ability of sight before getting lasik eye surgery. Jameis Winston was a big shot QB at Florida State and his understanding of the human body is the final nail in the coffin that D1 Football players simply do not go to class.
There are of course players that do go to class. His name is Ryan Fitzpatrick. This gives a bad rep for the players who actually do have a brain and have a basic grasp on how to use it. Athletes are stereotyped to be bone-heads and Winston seems to be a living and breathing proof that they might be. Even if they aren’t all bone-heads, it is extremely obvious that they do not have to actually go to class and learn things.
