The Mets Are Back And I Could Not Be More Happy About It

Let me tell you something. I have NEVER been this excited for an opening day. I took a half day at work, I got my hot dogs ready to be consumed – ketchup only, the way God intended.

I don’t know if it is because we stole a generational player right from The Yankees, the lineup being the best in my lifetime or the simple fact that The Giants are a disaster. But I can not wait to see Gary, Keith and Ron on my screen ad talk about the FANTASTIC winter The Metsies had. I know I know- the rotation is a little disappointing. But I have full faith in the Jeremy Hefner School Of Pitching (JHSOP as I will begin calling it on Twitter starting right now). They could throw out all the disasters that we have had over the years and I would have full faith that we will have a rotation of guys that will make us competitive.

Also, do people forget how good the Ghost Fork is? Kodai Senga is a legit Ace. Manaea was a certified stud the second half last year and our bullpen is the best it has ever been. Having worries about the pitching simply means you do not understand just how good this lineup is.

BRET THE MET might be good?! I will SO quickly jump back on that band wagon if he goes yard today. Pete Alonso might not even be a top 5 bat in our lineup! INSANITY! 1-4 could legitimately hit 150 home runs between just them. This lineup is going to put up RUNS.

I can’t believe this is my life. I love it here.
