Yes. I am a fan of the Netflix reality shows. The premise of all of these shows are so fucking insane – that they are incredible. In a wild turn of events, there were actual healthy relationships in this season of Love Is Blind. There were people who knew when to break it off before it got too toxic. Let me tell ya – that made for terrible television.
First off. One of the biggest fumbles of all-time was to not keep showing Leo and Brittany on camera. The reunion is on the 30th next week and words can not describe how much I want them to be there.
There is no clip on Twitter, but them meeting was one of the most awkward moments in TV history. I was literally shouting at my TV “Here it is! The Season is on! This is the only couple I want to see!” The very next screen was the screen grab above – letting us know that they will not be continuing on with the show. HORRIBLE DECISION. This dude could not stop talking about his money and the fact that she decided that she would take a quick trip to Miami on his dime is just fantastic. I would pay money to see how that went.
There were really only 2 other couples who were entertaining – but not in a fun way. In a very annoying way that was flat out irritating. First is Hannah and Nick. I do not want to spend too much time on them – even though the entire internet has been trashing Hannah (which she deserves). Hannah thinks she’s above Nick. I get that, the dude doesn’t know how to boil water. That is what we call a red flag in the dating world. But you could tell she was never into him and was just belittling him at all times and eventually broke it off. It was just irritating to watch.
I knew from the first sight that I was not going to like this guy. Yes, it was the Anakin Skywalker hair. Let me say one thing about this guy: He is a horrible human. The girl he was engaged to wanted to wear condoms when they had sex and he flat out almost broke up with her over that. Absolute PSYCHO behavior. This dude tried to manipulate this poor girl into basically just being a sex doll for him. The week she was on his period, he was complaining to her that she wasn’t cuddling a lot and they didn’t have sex for a few days. After seeing this, I fully understood why he was divorced. I have been married for a year and have a baby on the way, sex is a special occasion now.
This man got the ick from her being former military – something they talked about in the pods! He was trying to get her worldview to change and it was crazy to watch. This dude was gaslighting her and she was fully taking it. One day she was giving him too much energy – the next was not enough. Then he breaks it off with her 24 hours before they are supposed to get married and 12 hours after he told her that he was 100% in it with her. FUUUUUUUUUCK this guy.
He SOOO clearly went on this show to get famous and get some [unprotected] pussy. I will say that people who make it this obvious that they are just on the show to gain instagram followers get absolutely ROASTED at the reunion. You better believe I will be tuned in live for that.
