The Daniel Jones Beard Saga is not only continuing, but the most interesting storyline revolving around him going into the year. What will Dan do? Shave or Keep it? Personally? I think he should keep it. As a goony white guy who CAN’T grow a beard, if you can be a goony white guy who CAN grow a beard – it is your civic duty to do so.
As a guy who is a big believer in juju and luck and all the supernatural things that go into football. Something has got to change. Keeping a beard just might be the change Jones needs to have some better consistent play.
Coach said to keep the beard, Daniel! Kafka knows too. He is probably gone at the end of the season and if he wants a promotion to another organization, he will need Jones to actually be ok at playing football. Do as coach says Dan. You gotta keep it for the season.
Even Kay Adams – per source has rubbed wet spots with Jones. And by “source” I meant “The Internet”. Can’t lie on the internet. Anyway, Kay likes the beard and thinks that it should be kept on his face. As a 27 year old married person, I know that whatever the lady says it what is going to happen. Even if you really do not want to do whatever it is the lady says – you are going to do it. You know why? Because they let you near their lady parts. It’s that simple.
Bobby Skinner did point out that the juju with the beard may not be good because Jones played bad against the Texans in the preseason. Counterpoint: It’s preseason. How many people watched anything more that the clips that were being the subjects of multi-week arguments on Twitter? Answer: Maybe 15 people who don’t get paid to break down film. Was I one of those psychos? Yes. But it was still essentially a padded practice. Doesn’t count.
Keep the beard. Try to get some more juju to the swamps of North Jersey.
