The Giants had a couple joint practices with The Detroit Lions and The Giants have proven that they will definitely have fight this year. I will not bring up football AT ALL in this blog.
This has been my favorite training camp ever. We just got guys throwing haymakers after plays and players sticking up for one another. Love seeing what I am seeing. Daniel Jones also decided to grow a beard and try to fight a defensive lineman. He is slowly opening that door to come back into good graces with me.
After last season when the team walked into the season and got absolutely fist fucked by The Cowboys on Sunday Night Football, this is a great change of pace. We know that this team will not be walking into the season sleep walking.
This is also with a Detroit team who are some peoples Super Bowl Dark Horse entering the season (It’s me. I’m some peoples.). It is seriously so refreshing to see a team to have this level of passion and fire heading into the season. It is really setting the season up to have a bit higher expectations than maybe it should.
The Giants and Lions are playing each other in the Swamps of New Jersey on Thursday night and I am starting to wonder if they will just throw an octagon at midfield. They could have Dana White have the UFC set up some sort of Royal Rumble match in a cage and fly our Joe Rogan to commentate it.
It can start with Brian Daboll and Dan Campbell. Daboll obviously doesn’t have the advantage there. Dan Campbell is probably one of the first 3 people I would list in the entire NFL that I would not want to be locked in a cage with, so we will give Brian the pass there. The Final Two out would obviously be Daniel Jones and Jared Goff. Jones proved that he is a cold-blooded KILLER when he decided to shove a defensive lineman approximately 3x his size. Jared Goff has done nothing but run away from the action.
When I sat down to write this, I was not sure where it would go. I am happy it ended with Daniel Jones and Jared Goff locked in a cage.
