As everyone knows, Taylor Swift has been going to Chiefs games and The NFL has been showing her as much as they possibly can. It was fun the first couple of weeks, but now it is out of hand. The broadcast mentions and shows her every chance they get. Whenever I am talking to someone and I say “The Chiefs are playing,” they quickly ask, “Is Taylor going to be there?” I don’t fucking know! This has absolutely nothing to do with Taylor, she doesn’t do anything that annoys me. I have nothing against her, have to respect anyone who has ran through more guys than Derrick Henry. It is everyone else that annoys me.
If The Chiefs make it to the Super Bowl, the game won’t be about football. It will be about Taylor Swift being in attendance. I see myself being at a Super Bowl Party – something I don’t like to do to begin with because 70% of the people there have no idea what is happening – and everyone yelling “THERE SHE IS!” or asking 100x “Is that one Travis?”. There is no part of me that wants to have to deal with all of that during The Super Bowl when I just want to watch football.
The NFL has so clearly capitalized on Taylor Swift for ratings and it is genuinely annoying. Swifties and Football fans all agree that it has gone too far and we should just let her enjoy watching her boyfriend play.
