On Sunday Night Football The Kansas City Chiefs lost a game because of a ticky tacky call for the first time ever in Mahomes career. Pat Mahomes was not thrilled. And he was still not happy after the game doing his best 8 year old losing in red light-green light on the playground impression.
After the game, Mahomes went on a rant about how this is a bad look for the game and somehow smears the great career Travis Kelce had. This was 100% the best play that never happened. It is a damn shame it doesn’t count. I am known to think we should fine NFL refs and do think it’s a BOLD decision to make this call. But, I don’t think Mahomes realizes he is basically saying that he shouldn’t have won the Super Bowl last year.
So I will send Mahomes a personal challenge. If you admit that the holding call in the Super Bowl was a wild call to make in that moment of the game and send Jalen Hurts the Super Bowl MVP with a hand written note telling him he was the best player on the field that night (he was) – We will start a petition to restart the game with 1 minute left and Buffalo receiving a kickoff.
But seriously look at that picture. This is the definition of offensive off-sides. We’ve seen much lesser quarterbacks shake off much worse calls that have costed them much more important games.
Brittany has finally rubbed off on him – or he snapped because Travis is dating Queen Swift and he’s married to the second most annoying person on the planet after only his brother. It took 6 years of Pat Mahomes shitting on the NFL for us to learn that he isn’t great when he loses.
I don’t think Kardarius Toney is taking nearly enough heat for this absolutely moronic mistake. This could be a chess not checkers move by Mahomes because he knows just how much of a mental .. little person? .. Toney is and can’t handle the heat for making such a stupid mistake.
When you first start playing football, you are told to confirm with the ref that you are on-sides and in a legal formation before every single snap. The ref will tell you if you need to move. You can see receivers communicating with refs throughout games all the time to make sure they are lined up correctly.
Don’t worry, I was there to make sure Toney got some heat for this.
Unlike Mr. Smokes, I am very quick to cyberbully professional athletes that I do not like when they do something dumb. So lets do some more.
Just a few games into Toneys career as a Kansas City Chief and Chief fans running around saying he will be the next Tyreek Hill, he has personally lost them 2 games. He makes catching a football look like one of the most difficult things to do on the planet. He can do all of these amazing things to get open and once he does have the ball – but that’s the issue. He can’t learn a playbook and he can’t catch the ball when it is thrown to him. Now he also can’t lineup on-sides. This is a mistake that should lead to him sitting on the bench for a long long time.
The last thing I really want to talk about is similar to what Mahomes was talking about with legacy. Specifically Lebrons legacy.
Lebron has also been known to act like a prepubescent person after losing. This is where I want this conversation to go.
