Amazon Prime Is Ruining Football

After what feels like an entire season worth of bad prime-time games, we finally have a week with a couple of good games. Today’s Thursday Night Football Game is one of the best games on the card for the weekend. Divisional game, two teams coming off a loss, make-or-break moment for the Bengals. Aaaaand it is on Prime.

I must say how much I hate that TNF is on Amazon Prime. Only one of my TVs is logged into Amazon Prime as I do not use my own Prime. This causes a lot of turbulence in my household as my wife wants to watch The Bachelor and I want to watch .. anything else. There will be a full on brawl in my house to determine what will be on the main TV. My wife simply does not watch on our other TV – so her going into the other room is not an option. Wait until I tell her I have the mortgage on Mark Andrews Anytime TD +165 – He’s due.

It is lunacy that I pay for NFL Network and I am unable to watch TNF. Every Prime-Time Game should be on NFL Network, not sure why that is such a crazy ask. They can still have every single commercial be for Amazon Prime – I don’t give a fuck – just let me watch football. It isn’t even like Amazon Prime is better than the other broadcasts. Al Michaels has no idea where he is half the time!

There is absolutely no energy in his voice, he sounds confused by the play. This is straight up elder abuse. Al Michaels is an All-Time great announcer, so I will not rag on him. He has done enough to get a pass for the rest of his career.

I know that I am going to be sweating out Mark Andrews Anytime TD, Bengals ML, and O46 watching the play-by-play on the ESPN app. It makes it so much worse that there are currently TWO Bachelor shows airing back-to-back on Thursdays, so I can’t get access to the TV until 1130 anyway.

Just put the damn game on NFL Network!
