The Cleveland Browns Are Debuting “White-Out Uniforms” That Are Just The Syracuse White Uniforms.

I must admit. These jerseys fuck. They are also just The Standard Syracuse white jerseys. The only difference is the dark blue instead of black and orange numbers instead of black.

The NFL organizations have been coming out some wildly garbage uniforms. There are some jerseys that are just classic and will never change – Raiders, Steelers, Cowboys. I am going to be honest.

There is this trend where teams just rip off college teams with similar color schemes. We’ve seen the Colts do it with Duke forever and the one time they strayed away from that, they were some of the ugliest jerseys I have ever seen.

This honestly might all be Nike’s fault. Nike started this fad of having the pants be the exact same color as the jersey. It is such a dumb look. Excluding white on white & The Ravens. Those blackout jerseys are sick and reserved for The Ravens. Everyone for some reason loved those color-rush jerseys even thought there were only like 3 nice jerseys. Do we remember those Jaguars spicey mustard jerseys? Or all the color blind people not being able to tell who is on what team in a Bills-Jets game? Some of the All-Time jersey blunders came out of Nike doing that. That was also what The NFL used as an excuse to promise every team a TNF game every year. I’m sorry, the Cardinals do not deserve a TNF game this year.

Ok. I honestly just started typing and this went in a wildly different direction than I was anticipating. Anyway, I do not know who the people are who are designing these jerseys, but they need to be told it is time to find another profession. Go back to simple jerseys, don’t over think it. These teams with the 85 year old owners are trying to relate to a younger crowd and they are MISERABLY failing. Just keep most of the older jerseys and look to the college teams for inspiration.

There are a lot of teams that should be just going back to older jerseys: Giants, Jets, Eagles, Jaguars are just a couple I thought of in the 15 seconds I allotted to the research.
