I Had Way Too Much Fun Watching Kadarius Toney Attempt To Play Football Last Night.

Kadarius Toney had a career ending bad game last night. Watching Toney absolutely flop last night is a joy that I should talk to a psychiatrist about. I usually am not the kind of person who will be actively rooting against a former Giant – in fact, I was rooting for Richie James to have a major impact on the game. But when you leave The Giants and say you were never actually hurt, win the Super Bowl and troll the fans, and bad mouth the team and organization for an entire off-season, I am going to hope bad things happen to you. Travis Kelce even said he was surprised The Giants let him leave the building!

As many people know, I thought the over 52.5 was stealing. Toney’s terrible play is a major reason I did not cash the bet. If I could pay $20/game for Kadarius to play like this every week, I would pay it. Worth. Ever. Penny.

This started with Toney’s first target on a play that wasn’t a gadget play designed to get the ball in his hand. Toney was wide open, the ball hit him square in the hands and it resulted in a Detroit Lion touchdown. To say I almost pissed myself laughing is an understatement. I honestly thought there was a chance Toney wouldn’t be allowed to put his helmet on after that play. Andy Reid made the mistake of allowing him to walk back on the field and Patrick Mahomes made the mistake of throwing the ball in his direction. Toney dropped a ball that him him in the nuts.

Toney proceeded to drop a ball that him him in the nuts. The exact words out of my mouth “How do you drop that?!”, because I had the over and that drop was the opposite of good for the over, “OH MY GOD! TONEY AGAIN!” I proceeded to once again wake my wife up and almost piss myself laughing.

But wait! That’s not all!

(sorry this is the best video of the play I could find with after nearly an entire 45 seconds looking)

For some reason Toney once again found himself on the field. He picked up right where he left off. In a massive part of the game, he was open to put the Chiefs into field goal rage – probably win the game. Dropped it. Now yes, we have all had a lot of fun clowning Kadarius Toney and yes, he deserves it. Buuut, when are we going to have the conversation about Patrick Mahomes continuously throwing to someone who has feet instead of hands?

I do not want to make this a Daniel Jones post, but I do have to say that there are a lot of Giant fans who would blame Daniel Jones for 2 of those drops saying “He shouldn’t throw the ball at the receiver mesh point like that,” and even “That ball was under-thrown and a tough catch”. Ok I’m done with that point. But all you ass-fucks who got pissed reading that: you know I am right.

Now it is time to appreciate what Joe Schoen has done for us. Kadarius Toney will now have some hamstring injury in the next practice and will play 7 snaps the rest of the season. Meanwhile, we have Darren Waller and Tre Hawkins getting ready to go for The New York Giants. This trade was an absolute masterclass by Joe Schoen and at the end of the season, it is going to be looked at as the best trade of the off-season.

Yes, Toney has incredible talent. No, he does not care about football. No, he does not care about the team. No, he will not have the mental toughness to get over this hump. This game very easily could be the game that completely tanks his career and it brings me a lot of joy.

I will now leave you with some of the funnier trolls I saw on Giants twitter last night:
