The Jets Bailed On The Bucs For Joint Practice

I want to be very clear before I get too into this blog: This tweet is the only context I have about this topic.

The Jets have apparently “Bailed on” The Tampa Bay Buccaneers for their joint practice. Not to fear, The New York Giants save the day! This reminds me of when your sibling invited someone over and their friend beat them to your house so you have to awkwardly sit there with this person who you know, but not really that well and talk about dumb shit until your sibling gets home.

This is an absolutely WILD move by The Jets who have every eye in The NFL on them after having an incredible off-season adding Rodgers and now are on Hard Knocks. I can tell you this, I will be watching Hard Knocks just waiting to see them talk about this. There is absolutely no excuse for The Jets to just not practice with a team after saying they would.

According to literally every player and coach who has a joint practice they are incredibly helpful. It makes less than no sense as to why The Jets would bail on The Bucs. Aaron Rodgers has a reputation of being a bit of a Diva and that might be rubbing off into the organization. The Jets do not need any more distractions going into the year as this is a Super Bowl in the next 2 years or bust situation. Aaron Rodgers has played his best football when media is doubting him. But there is a wildly big difference between Green Bay, Wisconsin and New York City. If The Jets get off to a slow start, things like this will be what the media will talk about and say they weren’t focused enough during camp – which I do not think is true, but we all know New York media likes to just say things. If The Jets do lose their first few games – which is very possible with how difficult their first half schedule is. I am not sure how Aaron Rodgers will react if he becomes public enemy number 1 in New York.

Anyway, The Giants being the class acts that they are decided to call up Tampa and let them know they can come over to Secaucus to get some reps in. I have no idea if that happened today or if it is tomorrow, but I can say 1 thing for sure. Daniel Jones is going to have a very interesting conversation with Baker Mayfield after Baker mocked The Giants for taking Jones at 6 overall in the 2019 draft. Now Baker is hanging on the a spot in the NFL by a thread and Daniel Jones signed a $160M deal. I would love to be a fly on the wall for that conversation.

I am very much looking forward to the reports to see how The Giants perform against The Bucs in practice. The Bucs are not going to be a good team, so we should have some good highlights and moments from those practices or practice. Idk how many they’re doing. We should beat them up though.
