I know.. I know.. I’m late. Sorry. I was busy yesterday. The final score was 65-7. This was terrible.
The final score and the fact that The Georgia players were just eating wings on the sideline is not the biggest reason this game was horrible. The winning Quarterback is not a future top pick in the NFL draft and likely won’t be good in the NFL. Also, people very rarely root for the favorites in these games. Everyone outside of the state of Georgia was rooting for TCU.
But none of this compares to the worst tragedy of them all. You were not allowed to tailgate! That is the most Un-American thing I have ever heard of! Thousands of people had to walk into that stadium completely sober and just watch a team get absolutely manhandled for 60 minutes. 70% of the fun at College Football Games is the tailgate – just a bunch of degenerates doing dumb shit for hours before they start screaming their heads off for a football game. SoFi Stadium should be banned from hosting any future sporting events.
These are the moments we want from our tailgates. Dumb shit with a risk of death should occur before every single football game that takes place in America. No excuses. You shouldn’t even let people in the building if you won’t let them nearly light themselves on fire after chugging 14 beers a 9am.
