The New York Giants are 7-2 and Daniel Jones has completely dis-proven the “You can’t win with Daniel Jones” narrative. The haters are now saying that he needs to do more. I am not sure what more he needs to do, we are 7-2. Giants receivers have dropped more passes this year than the previous 10 years combined – don’t fact check it, just take my word.
Daddy Dimes has not turned the ball over this year. I really am not sure what else he can do to prove that he can win games and has a potential to be The Guy for The New York Giants. I guess he needs to get these random dudes who were bagging groceries a few weeks ago to run better routes and get open. I would love the playbook to open up a bit and let Jones let the ball fly down field. The issue is, there is one receiver who is a deep threat and there is constant over the top help with him – Darius Slayton.
It is no longer “Will Jones get another contract?” but “What will that contract look like?” I am not saying he’s getting a massive deal, and I think there’s a huge rage the contract can be as of right now. I don’t want to get into that, but he absolutely will have a contract at the end of the year.
