Around Midnight on Wednesday night I announced that I will be doing a Random Blog Friday (RBF) – Very different from Resting Bitch Face. It only got 1 interaction. It was favorited by El Jefe. Make sure to check him out if you haven’t. He’s a Co-Creator of New York Revival and does some incredible skits based around the New York Giants. By the end of last season we collectively felt the same feeling; which brings me to this weeks topic – Nothing.
Since no one gave a suggestion. We are rolling with nothing. Who am I to think people would actually respond? I only have roughly 300 followers on the twitterverse and only around 5 views per blog. So this could only be a flop. What does this make me feel inside? Nothing.
As a New York Giants and New York Mets fan, I am very familiar with the feeling of nothing inside. I also clearly have less of a social media presence than I anticipated – also makes me feel nothing on the inside.
Nothing can be used as a pronoun (not anything; no single thing.), adjective (having no prospect of progress; of no value.), and an adverb (not at all). I purposely just used an oxford comma because it brings nothing to a given sentence.
In episode 42a of Spongebob Squarepants, Spongebob and Patrick(Not Rick) used a Magic Conch Shell to dictate their lives. After Squidward gets jealous of the club, he decides to join. Squidward was very skeptical of The Magic Conch Shell throughout the entire episode. The Conch Shell ends up sending the club on a camping trip or something .. I don’t remember, it was like 15 years ago. But basically they get lost and you will never guess what the Magic Conch Shell told the to do. NOTHING. While Spongebob and Patrick(Still Not Rick) sat there doing nothing, Squidward decided to try to find a way out. OUT OF FUCKING NO WHERE another person .. fish .. thing .. idk. with a Magic Conch Shell FOUND THEM. Those Shells were CLEARLY magic (hence my consistent capitalization of “The Magic Conch Shell”) and as a 7 year old watching I felt whatever the opposite of nothing is.

In conclusion “Nothing” is awesome.
Also, please follow me on twitter and give me a suggestion when I tweet out looking for suggestions next week. I’ll write out nothing again if I have to. I just don’t want to.
