PFN has release the top 32 Offensive Tackles in football and after a season where Andrew Thomas has clamped down some of the leagues top pass rushers and had more tackles than sacks allowed, he was ranked 20. What an absolute JOKE! The reasoning has to be the struggles that he has had in the first few months of his NFL career.
I will not sit here and say Andrew Thomas should be top 5, but without thinking too much, I would say probably top 10 and most definitely top 15. Andrew Thomas really solidified that left edge which resulted in Daniel Jones looking a ton more comfortable in the pocket. Thomas has not had a steady left guard playing next to him, but has shown the flexibility to work well with whoever The Giants decided to play the position that week.
The fact that this article put him at 20 is absolutely laughable and made me not even want to read anything else in the article. Silver lining in Thomas only has room to grow in the public eye and people are still sleeping on him. This team throughout history has done its best while being doubted. I am excited to see Thomas continue to grow and be a cornerstone tackle in the NFL for years to come.
