DADDY DAVE and Joe Judge GOT IT DONE! After 4 days of painfully waiting to see if Kenny Golladay would sign with the New York Giants, Kenny signs a 4year/$72million deal! Only 40 Million is guaranteed! This is the biggest singing for the Giants in a very long time. KG will completely transform this offense and open up what the Giants can do with the 11th pick in this draft. Just a couple days after adding Kyle Rudolf, the New York Giants now have two big targets for the red zone and short third down situations. I am writing this before the full contract breakdown was released, so I am not sure what the rest of free agency will be looking like for The New York Giants. Today, I just want to go on a little rant about how happy I am for this signing and what it means for the Giants. Daniel Jones has absolutely no excuses going into this season and should take massive steps forward. Darius Slayton will put similar number up to what he put up in his rookie season with less pressure on him and the second corners/less double teams/etc. The only constant of The Giants offense from last year was they stalled out in the red zone and couldn’t convert on third down. Golladay is a big guy to get those big receptions and to rely on in big situations late in games. Jason Garrett will be able to open the playbook up significantly more and let Danny Dimes let it fly down the field much more often. This New York Giants rebuild is very close to being complete. 2021 is going to be a FUN year for all of us fans!
